ADLINK Technology Inc., a leading manufacturing of ruggedized boards and modules, announced the release of the latest rugged EPIC single board computer (SBC), the Ampro by ADLINK(TM) ReadyBoard(TM) 850. The ReadyBoard(TM) 850 is the first of the ReadyBoard(TM) family to include the SUMIT(TM) expansion connector, supporting both a single mezzanine card and multiple modules in a stack for optimal flexibility. The ReadyBoard(TM) 850 is based on the Intel® GM45/ICH9-M chipset with the Intel® Socket P processor socket which supports a wide range of CPUs-from entry-level Intel® Celeron® M processors to the latest Intel® Core(TM)2 Duo processors.
The ReadyBoard(TM) 850 was developed with the Ampro by ADLINK(TM) Rugged design methodology. To satisfy the most extreme conditions, the ReadyBoard(TM) 850 has an operating temperature range of -20°C to +70°C and meets MIL-STD-202 vibration up to 11.95 Grms and shock up to 15 Grms (peak-to-peak).
The ReadyBoard(TM) 850 strikes a fine balance between performance and feature set by including the following additional I/O connectivity for maximum flexibility:
- Up to 4 GB of 1066 MHz DDR3 RAM
- Two PCI Express x1 lanes
- One PCI Express x4 lane
- Two Ethernet ports
- Two SATA ports
- Up to 8 USB ports
- Both VGA and LVDS connectors
- Two serial ports
